By downloading, installing, or using the Vellopost application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Vellopost is an AI-powered social media management platform that allows users to create, schedule, and publish content across multiple social media platforms. Features include AI content generation, a content calendar, team collaboration, and analytics.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- You must be at least 16 years of age to use Vellopost
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use Vellopost to:
- Post content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory
- Spam, mislead, or deceive your audience or social media platforms
- Violate the terms of service of any connected social media platform
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Use our AI features to generate harmful, misleading, or deceptive content
- Resell or sublicense access to Vellopost without our written permission
5. Subscriptions and Billing
- Vellopost offers subscription plans billed on a recurring basis
- Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
- Free trial periods, where offered, automatically convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial unless cancelled
6. AI-Generated Content
- AI-generated content is provided as-is and is a starting point for your own editing
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any content before it is published
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or suitability of AI-generated content
- You retain ownership of content you publish through Vellopost
7. Connected Social Media Accounts
- You grant Vellopost permission to post content to your connected accounts on your behalf
- You are responsible for ensuring your use of Vellopost complies with each platform's terms of service
- We are not liable for any suspension, restriction, or penalties imposed by social media platforms on your accounts
8. Team Members
- Account owners are responsible for the actions of team members they invite
- Team member access can be revoked at any time from the admin dashboard
- You must not invite individuals without their consent
9. Intellectual Property
- Vellopost and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright
- Content you create and publish through our platform remains your property
- By using our AI generation features, you grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely to generate the requested output
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time through the app. Upon termination, your access to the service will cease and your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vellopost shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app
- Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities
- Errors or interruptions in service
- Actions taken by social media platforms on your accounts
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of the jurisdiction where we are incorporated, except where prohibited by local law.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
